Low temperature fabrication on TFTs on foil
At TNO, Organic and oxide transistors
Master thesis description:
This student project is aiming for experimental benchmarking of low temperature ink-jet printed oxide TFTs for circuits and display backplanes. The main focus of the work will be on optimization of ink-jet printed oxide TFTs. Later on you will realize functional devices such as circuits and/or display backplanes.
As a team member your tasks will be:
-
Knowledge acquisition through literature survey, discussion with other team members and internal seminars.
-
Performing experiments in world-class clean-room labs.
-
Analysis of the experimental data and presentation thereof.
-
Documenting results in a technical report and taking part in technical meetings.
Profile:
You are an ambitious master student with both scientific and practical skills looking for a thesis of at least 9 months. You have a materials science, applied physics, or electronic engineering background. Experience in thin-film deposition and patterning is encouraged. You have good communication skills in English and you are independent but also a team player.
